Oudemansiella radicata
(Rehlan: Fr.) Singer

Photos: Bart Wursten, Castleburn Forest.
A
slender species with a long, thin stem, an underground pseudorhiza, and rather
thick and distant gills. A terrestrial species, usually growing from buried
wood. It is a mostly temperate species, which may have been introduced, though
it is found in primary, undisturbed habitats.
