A preliminary list of the macrofungi recorded in the Vumba.

The knowledge of fungi in Zimbabwe is still far from comprehensive. Many specimens can only be identified as far as the genus level and new species are discovered, recorded and described on a regular basis. This list, therefore, is far from complete. It so far contains 37 species, and is mainly based on personal observations made by Cathy Sharpe and Bart Wursten. Scientific names are given plus a brief note on the occurrence and habitat of the species.

Where available, photographs and further species information are shown on additional pages made by Bart Wursten.
