Fairie's Bonnets

Edible

A delicate, short-lived and highly gregarious species, less than 3 cm tall, occurring in colonies of hunderds or even thousands of specimens. It is found on wet dead logs and in nearby soil. Though edible, this delicate species will almost disappear when cooked.
