| This
species has an erect rhizome with tuffed, uniform, proliferous fronds which
makes it possible for this species to cover whole rocks or tree branches.
The pinnate lamina (100-300 x 15-25mm) is linear to lanceolate in outline.
The distal pinnae are slowly decreasing in size and end in a naked extension
of the rachis that bears the gemma. The falcate pinnae are very recognizable
with their broadly rounded lobed acroscopic margins . Up to 6 oval
sori cover most of the pinnae, indusium present. |
